I wonder if any of you wonderfully knowledgeable Catters can help with this. I have been searching for a song which I first encountered as a child on an old '78 record. The only words I can recall are as follows:

The French song of lost love doesn't appear to be a version of Heavenly Blue, unless perhaps they are sung to the same air?

Youtube has another different song, recorded by Burton Cummings
