Happy New Year!

I'm hoping someone can tell me how to get the Win98SE Sound Recorder to record for more than 60 seconds, if it even can. If it can't, can anyone recommend a simple (free?) recording program workable with Win98SE, plus not much RAM and a dialup connection? Some of you lovely people must remember back to that stage in your computer history. ;-}

Thanks!

no..it is 'set' for 60 seconds.

An alternative would be Audacity ...free and fairly easy to use.

note...*smile*...there are a number of other 'gadget' programs, like Silent Bob, but Audacity is a serious, popular program which will edit and (with a small 'helper' file), convert to MP3.

For ripping CDs and recording from vinyl and tape, I have found Audiograbber , a freeware (- and spyware-free) program, to be just about unbeatable.
