me & chums often camp in winter - usually sleep in cars though& use tent for cooking etc.

indoor caping ok with us too.

A mid winter do sounds good if you can find a friendly place to camp indoors.

If you want more responses, Sally, I would suggest that you start another thread with a title something like "Winter Festival at Bishop's Castle?". I do not think everyone will be looking at this thread now ...
