Ok, folks, I think I got them all up now, so I started a new thread instead of burying them in the old one.

Note, I didn't make a serious attempt to document **everything**, but just shot where I was mostly...so there are a bunch of the instrumental styles workshop, just because it was a great day for picture taking..*smile*...sorry if I didn't have my camera where YOU were.. I hope others got some of what I missed.

Note: these are mostly reduced in size (though still not small), and some are cropped...so if you'd like an original of some scene, PM me and I'll get it to you..

now...lets see more!

Thanks guys, my kids got to see selected portions of video, but like Bill D I'm no where to be seen in my own film.... Bill there are shots of you lying at Kendall and Max's feet staring up ??adoringly?? perhaps ... incredulously?? more likely. And a short snip of you and Rita Sunday night that is getting a special request to Max to keep in the tape. It should be ready tommorrow and then off to Max.

I don't recall one single political discussion at all.

I didn't bring a camera or recording device because I tend to be distracted when I do, and I just wanted to relax and melt into the music. Thanks to the folks who did take piccies - I really appreciate having these visual memories. I can't wait for Micca to regain conciousness and post his.

Kim--depends which Nashville you mean, but the one in nearby York County, Pennsylvania is only a hour or so away on quiet backroads. On the other hand, the Nashville in Tennesee is about 726 miles, or 13 hours of driving.

13 hours, not too bad, we drove that to Williamsburg last summer... also one time we drove all the way from Nashville, TN to Grand Island, NE in one day - 15 hours.

I'd be all up for a road trip, sure.

I think they are on Shorty, Bill. But I was able to access them just a little while ago for the first time since they were posted. The captions identify everyone pretty well except that Karen K. and Big Mick were not named in one of the group photos. The photo of Cabin 7, 8, 9 & 10 (all the same building) was not labeled. For those who weren't there, this was one of the abodes we sometimes passed through on our way to something else. Well, I suppose there were a few times when the sleep of exhaustion took hold and we stayed there for an hour or two...

Great pictures. Would like more info on the next one at Camp Ramblewood. i.e. set-up, price, lodgings etc. Also does one just show up and jam or is there a planned line-up of performers etc. Is it a tenting camp or what. Do we book as a group or individually ?.Any info would be appreciated.

Looking at the photos I am sorry I missed this opportunity to meet many of you.

I'm about a 10 to 12 drive from Maryland but it would be well worth it.

ps. Are tenor banjo players welcome ?. (grin)

No Rick. I never heard of Dick before I met him. I was very impressed with what a lovely human being he is, and a fine musician. He managed to accompany me very skillfully despite my very erratic playing. And he was sight reading, too.

But I got an idea about what a special treat I'd had when Emily said of my concert performance (I use that term very loosely), "and you got to play with Dick Swain!"

Don't banjo ukes count. They are just tenors that have gone through the hot cycle of the wash and shrunk a bit. I didn't bring my Tenor this year, but I will next year so you can leave it on the cabin porch just like a little bit of honey. Then when you hear it being played, volah, you've got your banjo player! :-)
