Hew, what's all the noise about? I use to play the BS (Bassoon) in high school. Thanks for starting a thread about Bassoons.

Can't you people stick the subject? Am the only one with Bassoon experience?

*true story*...when I was in high school, they tried to get me to switch from clarinet to bassoon, but I was too smart for 'em....those bassoon reeds are flimsy, expensive, and tricky!

*grin* the key is AUTO harp..ya tune it, ya poosha da button, ya strum it...I ain't smart enough to do them barred 'F' chords on guitar...It's sorta like a musical "Peter Principle"...the trick is knowing whether your heart is really into it....

I think Sandy meant to add Pissing in the Snow, but there are raunchy rhymes and tales in Randolph/Legman Blow the Candle Out also.
