Just to let people know that the latest (August 2007) edition of my Worlds of Trad Internet radio programme is now uploaded, will be on-line until Wednesday Spetember 12th, and features the very best in traditional folk, ethnic, world, roots, blues, old time country and early jazz; traditional music from absolutely everywhere in fact.

This month there's several items from the Union Grove Old Time Fiddlers Convention in North Carolina, a couple of songs from Bessie Smith, some new releases of Irish music from the Cló Iar Chonnachta label out in County Galway, various reminiscences of Argo's magnificent Living Tradition LP series, Muddy Waters at the Newport Jazz Festival and a whole world full of everything else.

I've just tried to access the page and you're quite right. For some reason the link has started reverting to the Myspace homepage, which it didn't when I first tried it. If you don't want to log in, and it is a straightforward process, the playlist is above.

As soon as can I clear the decks, I'm going to start building a website which should contain a lot more information and be a lot more access friendly.

A word of warning to anyone contemplating taking up MYspace membership. Ever since I joined I've been inundated by photographs of half naked girls with big knockers saying they want to be friends with me !
