Subject: RE: POW's released (songs of peace) From: Llanfair Date: 01 May 99 - 06:14 PM Hullo, I'm new, I found the Mudcat Cafe this week, and am just catching up. I hadn't realised that the hostages had been released. Dredging through my memory, most songs are anti-war, or people cross-dressing to stay with their sweethearts. The one that describes the utter waste and futility of war, with the contrasting gentleness of peace is "No Man's Land," which I am just learning. It gives me goose pimples!!!!!. Hwyl. |
