Looking for information on an insturmentalI always play. Some people call it 'Crossing the Rhine" some New Caldonia March" and others...Does anyone know the history of it???I have heard it played on railroad and gold rush history films. I can't seem to find any info on it. Would probably help if I knew the exact title. thanks Lloyd

Don't know anything about the history of the tune, but in the Ozarks it's called Bonaparte Crossing the Alps.
