I was very saddened to hear of the death of Flos Headford, one of the great eccentric characters that have made the folk scene in Britain such an interesting place.
A lovely man and a great inventive fiddle player.

Just heard the news too. Inspiring player, great company in a tune session or anywhere else, and very knowledgeable too behind that eccentric character. RiP Flos.

I'm sure we'll be playing some of his tunes at The Old Bridge, Ripponden tomorrow night.

uch sad news! Flos was a fine fiddle player, a thoughtful contributor to "Shreds & Patches" and a pleasure to know. Deepest sympathies to Sheila and his many friends.
