I heard Rick Fielding on CBC's Richardson's Roundup this afternoon.

I can't remember the name of the song, but the log should show up at CBC's radio.cbc.ca web-site. P>It was great!

Yeah, I heard it coming home from a job interview...sorta said to myself, "if this is commuting, it ain't half bad!" Thanks Rick!

Its been many years since I forgot the first bunch of verses...did you learn that version from Tom Kines, Rick?

_Very_ well done.

Willie-O

Spot on Willie O! I was very sorry that Tom passed away before the recording was completed. I stuck pretty close to his version.

Rick

...well, the source was pretty clear if you listened to that record as much as I used to growing up (the only folk record I know that was accompanied by guitar and clarinet--worked very well) ...but the reading and arrangement were definitely your own.
