BS: Search engine broke?

Subject: Search engine broke?

I'm trying to use the discussion thread search engine and can't seem to call up anything more recent than May 11, 2000. Everything AFTER that date seems to be invisible to the search engine.

Anybody else experiencing this problem?

I'm not sure of dates, but part of it has to do with Max mucking about with database.

Jon and I both posted to the Help Forum, the other day, that the super search seemed to be down. I don't know if anyone has posted to that about why or not. Will go check it.

I have a feeling that the supersearch uses an indexing system that Max has to run periodically. If that is the case, it will always be behind but May does seem a long way behind.

The Forum Search from the quick links is up to date but that one does not search the body of the message.

PS Mousethief, this question would probably have been better placed in the Help forum.

I'm sorry! I didn't realize there was a Help forum. Mea culpa. I suppose one gets there by clicking on the "Help" keyword at the top of the screen?
