Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Standing At The Crossroads From: IanC Date: 07 Jun 01 - 05:25 AM Cookie Unfortunately there are a lot of songs with this name, it seems to be a common blues theme. I've found songs by Elmore James, Mickey Jupp, Eric Clapton. None are your one. The Supremes seem also to have sung a song by that name, for which I haven't found the words.
Sorry! |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Standing At The Crossroads From: GUEST,Cookie Date: 07 Jun 01 - 09:25 AM The man said it was a very old song so I don't think it was any of them. Just thought I would try here. I don't know where else to look for the real oldies. Thanks everyone, Cookie |

Subject: Lyr Add: CROSSROADS (Donn Reynolds) From: Jim Dixon Date: 09 Dec 09 - 04:53 PM Lyrics copied from Donn Reynolds' web site. On this page you can play a complete mp3 file of the song (and about 35 other country songs): CROSSROADS (Donn Reynolds - © 1962) I'm standing at the crossroads. I'll go the way the wind blows. What you say will show the way to me. I'm asking for the last time For you to say you'll be mine. Your answer, dear, will make it plain to see. And if you say we're through, Then I'll stop loving you, For I know that I'll find someone Who'll bring me piece of mind. So please say yes or no, dear. That's all I want to know, dear. Standing at the crossroads, Which way do I go? (Instrumental Break) So please say yes or no, dear. That's all I want to know, dear. Standing at the crossroads, Which way do I go? [Recorded by Donn Reynolds on "The Wild One"] |
