Subject: Folk song vacations on the U.K. canals. From: GUEST,Tom Lewis Date: 26 Aug 01 - 08:11 PM Several people have managed to contact me - via soume tortuous routes and with some wierd mis-information - about an occasional vacation which Lyn and I facilitate ever couple of years. If anyone wants the CORRECT information they are welcome to contact us at seadog@netidea.com and if anyone would like an overview (with pictures and comments) of last year's adventure; they can drop into David and Barbars Shapiro's site: http://www3.sympatico.ca/b.l.shapiro/float.htm Thanks Cafeteers (Cafetiers?) Tom. |

I've done quite a bit of narrowboating with Guides, especialy through Warwick. The's usualy quite a bit of music in the way of Campfire songs (a couple of years ago the darling little angles that our my guides added an extra verse on "found a peenut" when I almost choked on 1 playing cards!) But to combine it with the folk feastival is inspired! |
