Subject: Anyone Hear of a Group Named "Phoenyx"? From: Kathryn Quint Date: 22 Apr 98 - 01:01 AM A friend is trying to find an album of theirs called "Keepers of the Flame"----I gather that it's a modern Celtic folk band......but I've spent hours searching Celtic music sites with no results! If anyones' found it on a site, or knows where my friend can get it, please e-me at camdenq@ici.net.....I'll be pleased to pass the info on to my friend. Thank you, Kathryn |

Subject: RE: Phoenyx From: Lorelei De La Mer Date: 05 May 98 - 02:18 PM Phoenyx was Heather Alexander's Celtic rock band, which broke up after recording one album (artistic differences, etc.) As far as I know, "Keepers of the Flame" is out of print, but at the last Heather Alexander concert I attended, they were selling lyric books. By the way, I do a copy of the CD. (heh heh) |

Subject: RE: Anyone Hear of a Group Named From: Gary Ehrlich Date: 07 May 98 - 07:57 PM However, a number of the songs that appeared on "Keepers of the Flame" appear on Heather Alexander's two most recent albums "Life's Flame" (4 songs) and "Midsummer" (1 song). Check her page at http://www.teleport.com/~seafire. |
