I had to come through a back door to get here this morning. I had bookmarked my personal page and from there clicked the forum.

I am unable to get into the Help Forum.

I've had trouble for 3 week-ends trying to get in. Also could not get into Help this am.

A couple of years ago someone posted a whole thread about this called 'Mudcatdown? Try this', and if I can work the blicky thing (unlikely) I'll add it. Basically there are 3 servers that serve Mudcat and if one is down, try the others. The server is random usually, but you can select a server if it serves you better. Got that? Ragtime is the one that works most reliably for me, enabling me to get in when the others won't let me in.

Damn, blicky didn't work, but if you copy and paste that in your address tag, you should be able to bookmark it and add to faves.

If the magic pixies could fix a blicky or do a thread search I'd be grateful, cos I'm a Duffer.

I was unable to get into Mudcat the normal way yesterday, but ragtime worked okay. But help didn't work at all. Now, the thing LTS just posted, http://help.mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=852&messages=8, worked just fine for getting into that thread, and from thence I was able to get into Help in general and post a thread on this subject.
