I start a new one hour radio program this Thursday, 9/05/02, 6:30-7:30 pm, called 'Sweeney Astray'. It will be an hour of 'Celtic' music, predominantly irish/scottish/welsh/breton trad. and folk, with some poetry, and language lessons thrown in. I'll be drawing on my collection of older material, as well as newer things, from Sweeney's Men to Bess Cronin, to Kevin & Junior Crehan, Joe Heaney, Paul Brady, Jean Ritchie, etc. any comments and or criticism much appreciated.

yes, happy to listen to anything 'Catters' have for airplay. They will go into the library of the radio station, so may get played on other shows as well,

No Kat, I'm in Eastern Zone, still EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) I should remember what the GMT is, but I can't, sorry.

Greenwich Mean TIme is 5 hours ahead of us here Eastern Standard Time, so my program, Thursday, Sept. 5, 6:30-7:30 PM, EDT, is 4 hours later than GMT, so it would run at 22:30-23:30 hours GMT, changing back to EST later this month, meaning it will be at 23:30-00:30 Friday for the reast of the year.
