Well this is embarassing. On Wednesday I asked for song ideas, looking for something my daughter can sing with us, and the thread is gone from the front page.

How do I bring it back up?

Thanks

Go to the forum search and reset the filter for 3days. That should bring the thread back up. If you join as a member ( no charge, just a cookie) you can set a tracer on any thread so you can always pull it up easily.

Also, if you do the age filter thing and can remember an exact word from the title of the thread and put that in the filter box, i.e. "daughter" without the quotation marks, you can get it that way without having to read through all of the other thread titles for the past however many days you bring up.

I've just refreshed it for you or you cna find it by clicking here.

The other way to bring up a thread, is to find some other thread you posted to. Then click on the name after the "From:"

Assuming you are using the same "Guest name", you can find previous threads that you posted to (ie:)User Search for Guest,Dave Hadfield

And what people haven't explicitly said - is once you find the thread - to bring it back up onto the first page - post to it.

As I explained in the Mudcat FAQ (click), the Filter is the best way to find things by thread name. Just put part of the thread name in the filter box, and set the age back a bit. The Forum Search (in Quicklinks) is the way to find things by message title or user name.
The Digitrad and Forum search covers the entire text of everything, but it depends on an index that is sometimes not updated for a number of months - so your search may miss recent messages.
