Mary & I are going to be in Cornwall from just after Boxing day till January 2.

Is there anything going on in the local folk music scene there? Sessions, clubs, maybe a public New Year ceilidh?

Pity that you're not going to be there a little earlier, just along the coast from Penzance is Mousehole and on 23rd of December they celebrate "Tom Bawcock's Eve" see this thread.
