Catriona is the harpist/keyboard player with Fiddler's Bid from Shetland. It's a long shot but I'm chasing the tune to Loon Mountain Moose - very reminiscent of Acrobat's Hornpipe, but even trickier. A truly fantastic tune which she recently played in Brisbane. It's in Bb Major.

Any help appreciated.

I've never heard this song, but there is a Loon Mountain Highland Games in New Hampshire (USA) And I am told that a visiting Scot wrote a song or tune about a moose sighted there last year. Could it have been Ishabel McAskill? think it was someone with the Edinburgh harp society.Wish I could give more details

Our moose are a bit different that the Scottish moose... of course everything is bigger in America! (Gin that's a moose, I dinna want tae see the cat!)
