Subject: Christ Child's Lullabye From: GUEST,Beccy Date: 06 Jan 03 - 01:54 PM OK- I don't know how much help I can expect on this one, but you all are fabulous, so I have my hopes up. I am looking for the original Irish words from which the Christ Child's Lullabye (recorded by Kathy Mattea, Shawn Colvin, et al...) was translated. To top it off, I'm looking for assistance with pronunciation. And for the cherry on top, does the bridge go: Gm Dm A (repeat) ? |

Subject: RE: Christ Child's Lullabye From: Malcolm Douglas Date: 06 Jan 03 - 02:25 PM You can find a number of references here by typing something like christ child lullaby (no "e") into the "Lyrics and Knowledge Search" box which you'll find at the top of the main Forum page. One of them is a list of links to material related to the song here and elsewhere which I added some time ago: RE: Scottish Christmas Songs. You may as well start there. |
