I remember from somewhere the following snippet of lyrics; internet searches come up blank. Does anyone recognise the song and know the rest of the lyrics and tune?

Daddy's on the bay, he'll keep the pot boiling,
Keep all from tumbling/falling(?) down to ruin and away(?)

Oops, my bad. I really should have thought of trying 'Daddy is' rather than 'Daddy's'...
