If anyone has a CD they'd like to sell online, now would be a really great time to start.

Send at least 5 of your CDs to cdbaby with a piece of paper with a smiley face on it, and they'll waive the setup fee, which is normally $35 US.

They charge a flat fee per CD to sell it and distribute it, they do not duplicate the CDs. Several Mudcatters have CDs at their site, you can search here at the Cat for opinions about their services.

I have to say I am very impressed so far.

Yeah, it's down... cdbaby.com is up and members.cdbaby.com is up as well.

Probably getting swamped by singups.

CDBaby is working great for me (search for dwditty). Very pleasant folks, and they do what they say. Also, there is a great set of about 50-60 tips to help you market your music.
