Not sure, MC. Joan from Wigans excelent a href="http://www.btinternet.com/~troubleatmill/folkal.htm">Folkal Point covers the area but only goes up to this Friday at the moment. I suspect a new one is due anytime now and if yoy check back in a couple of days you may well find the information you seek:-)

Cheers

Dave's link to Folkal Point is to the "short" version on the Trouble at' Mill website (Graham Dixon kindly puts Part 1 of the email version on his website). For the complete week's issue, visit the Wigan Folk Club website. There's an archive of previous issues there as well.

The Singers Nights etc aren't on the listings for those two days yet, but will be come next week's issue. From my files, the Manchester-ish ones are:

Wednesday:
> Waxy O'Connor's, Manchester: Live Irish music

Thursday:
> Arden Arms, Millgate, Stockport: Song Carriers Folk Club: Singaround
> Cellar Vie, Lloyd St, Manchester: Byron's Dandy Club: Acoustic Night Open Mic
> Jolly Angler, Manchester: Irish Trad Music Session
> South West Manchester Cricket Club: Chorlton Folk Club: Singers Night
> St Luke's Community Centre, Salford: The Barflies + Open Mic
> Waxy O'Connor's, Manchester: The Gallery (Irish trad band)

Venue details are in Folkal Point on either website.

Cheers,
Joan
