Subject: Ta/ mo cho/ta mo/r stro/icthe From: bri/ain Date: 17 Sep 98 - 02:40 PM 09/17/98 Dia dhuit! I have a friend from County Galway in Ireland who sings a song with this first line: Ta/ mo cho/ta mo/r stro/icthe o/ tho/inThe melody is a variant of a set dance tune called The Blackthorn. I wonder if anyone might know the author, a source, any info at all about it.I listen to a lot of Irish language songs and I have never come across it. By the way,I have gotten some great help in this forum. Go raibh maith ag gach duine agus mna uaisle! Can anyone direct me to any other sources on the net for Irish Language songs? |
