Subject: Esteban Guitars From: GUEST,Mr. Fancy Pants Date: 15 Oct 05 - 01:02 AM I just received my Esteban American Legacy Guitar in the mail today. Let me tell you it is one capitol guitar. I'm in love with it. It came with an Estaban powerful amplifier with master controls, a deluxe kit bag, picks, strap, allen key (what would I need that for?), 2 instructional dvd's, 2 intructional books. I'm going to be playing some rocking flamenco style guitar by the time I've finished with my 3 easy payments of $66 !! Anyone know where i can buy a leather Zorro hat and some kewl gaucho boots? |
Subject: RE: Esteban Guitar From: C-flat Date: 15 Oct 05 - 05:05 AM Mr.Fancy Pants, I'm glad you're happy with your new purchase although I'm a little puzzled as to why an entry-level guitar, complete with instructional books, also includes an amplifier in the package! Please tell me you're not learning to play whilst being fully amp'ed up!!!! Property prices in your area will nose-dive! Another puzzler is the "Esteban American Legacy Guitar" web site, which offers all you describe but with one difference. Rather than an "allen key" they offer a more useful "alien key"! With this useful little gadget you can un-lock the door to universal fame and fortune, no doubt. I think I can help with the hat; CLICK HERE Oh boy!, the neighbours are going love you!! C-flat. |

Subject: RE: Esteban Guitar From: number 6 Date: 15 Oct 05 - 04:26 PM Congrats on the new axe (yikes, talk about scarry)! But it still can't match my Taylor. sIx |
Subject: RE: Esteban Guitar From: Peace Date: 15 Oct 05 - 04:31 PM The Allen key may be to adjust the tension rod in the neck. Look inside the guitar where the neck joins the body. There is likely a socket that matches the key there. If you don't know what you're doing, don't go dickin' around with it. Best of luck with the guitar. I am happy for you. |
