Homeless? Jobless? Don't expect any sympathy from this lot; they'll just slap you down some more.

Jane, sorry to hear about your birthday not going as planned.

Sorcha, no, it's not.

In my dreams, in my dreams.

Try the queens arms hotel littondale, I think they would be most welcoming, check out www.yorkshiredales.net/frames/frame.asp?url=http://www.yorkshirenet.co.uk/stayat/queensarms

not good at blue clickys, so clicky monsters out there do your best

oh emma it took me ages to do that! and you beat me to it, I felt so proud of myself, yes I have camped there and stayed there, the camping is a small paddock opposite the hotel, they leave the outside toilets open all night, trick is for someone to book into hotel and then use the shower

I don't know exactly what you are looking for but you could do a lot worse than The Black Horse, Kirkby Fleetham where we are just about to start Kirkby Fleetham Folk Club (24th November) and hold a mini fest in February.

KFFC & Black Horse

Folk friendly, large car park for campers etc, B & B....and indoor camping can also be arranged in the Village Hall.

Just a thought........

Paul

Good lord Paul you are a beggar for punishment but of course you are right Kirkby Fleetham would be ideal

Well come on down (or up!) on the 24th then Ray!

Indoor camping is only planned for The Winter Warmer Weekend in February....but if anyone wants it for Nov 24th, please let me know in the next few days and I will try and organise something. B & B is available 2 miles away if Black Horse is full (I'm checking later).....and I only know of 3 vans planned so far so lots of room for more in the huge pub car park.

If anyone does want a Yorkshire gathering....again let me know what you want and when(having never been to one) and I'll I'm sure we can accommodate here in Kirkby Fleetham.

We're only a mile and a bit off the A1 so pretty accessible.

Paul

Ray,

Phil the Landlord will let anyone "vanning" in the pub car park (which backs onto open fields and is quite pleasant.....with views over to the distant Dales) use pub toilet facilities etc overnight.

Again, if people let me know, I'm sure Phil will also put on big, reasonably priced breakfasts as well....he' a good guy who is keen to get out folky custom which makes a pleasant change!

Let me know.

Paul
