Subject: Doncaster folk festival From: Mrs.Duck Date: 07 Mar 08 - 12:56 PM According to my diary this is this weekend. Anyone going and anyone got any details of what's happening? All I know for certain is that Green Oak Morris men are dancing in the town centre but otherwise not got any information. |

Subject: RE: Doncaster folk festival From: BanjoRay Date: 07 Mar 08 - 02:09 PM Apparently there's a musicians session tonight and all day tomorrow in the Cheshire Cheese on Wheatley Hall road. I'll get there tonight, I think - it's only half a mile away. The official festival stuff tonight is a Ceilidh in the Wheatley working men's club on Lowther Road, and tomorrow it all moves into the Ukrainian Club. Ray |
