UK Cstters interested in maritime culture, shanties and sea songs etc, might like to tune into Time Team on Channel 4 right now. They're digging under the new Paradise Street development to find Liverpool's first dock.

I wish it had focused a bit more on the social history. I was taken to Liverpool for the first time ealier this year, and became quite fascinated with the whole Docks area.
