Folk Weekend in Malta?????

Off to Malta for two weeks from Sunday....apparently there is a Folk weekend at the end of my stay....it is from 16th to the 18th.
Does anyone have any idea what their Folk weekend might consist of please? I can find the information telling me there is one but have no other info on its content.

I was googling out of interest and came up with this out of date information...

National Folk Singing Festival

The National Folklore Commission within the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts announces the 9th National Folk Singing Festival to be held on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May 2006 at Argotti Gardens, Floriana.

I know it's out of date but it's a bit a clue I suppose.
