Recommended YouTube music

Subject: Recommended YouTube musicians you may not know

Just a couple of unknowns (to me) I came across today, who are well worth a listen: Teledude1972 and BardofCornwall.

(Is this worth a thread, or are you lot already all clued up on YouTube? I'm new to it, and Mudcat!)

Sorry! I hadn't realised what your thread was about- thought it was ghost songs! I tried to change the title of mine (but couldn't) to reflect the fact that I meant unknown singers people may not have already found on YouTube. Like I said, I'm new to all this!

Welcome to the Mudcat, both of you! If you put "youtube" in the filter box at the top of the thread titles and use the drop down menu box to set the date back as far as you'd like, then hit "go," you will see that we have several youtube thread, the most important of which, imo, are the Permathread. and a new one of Mudcatters on youtube.

Thanks for your contributions, but please don't be surprised if your threads get combined into one of the already established threads.

Far as I am concerned... any time you want to say, "Wow, man. Like, check THIS out.", go ahead. I have been guilty of it more than a few times. However, I will, in future, try at least give a clue in the thread title of what it is about.... well, I can't give away too many clues as I don't have a big supply... eh? >;-)

Kat- Cheers for the tip; I've had a go. I'd never heard of a Permathread- sounds cool though!

Gnu- I agree. Only had Broadband a few months, so I'm discovering loads of new-to-me music, some actually quite old! You know what it's like: you hear a song that blows you away, and just want to share it!

Newfie band The Masterless Men haven't been mentioned on the forum for 4 years. Well worth a listen; my favourite's Dublin in my Tears.

BardofCornwall has been mentioned before & for someone who doesn't spend much time on Youtube (or Myspace or any other music site) I spent a long time listening to all his videos. He's a wonderful singer.

I've never heard of Teledude1972 so I've noted his name for looking up later today
