Fly Me To the Moon

It just came over the News Wire that Hilton is conducting a serious study on the feasibility of building a space station Hotel or a Hotel on the moon. To think that my Grandchildren may spend there Honeymoon on the moon. There is a song in this some place. Could you imagine looking at a "Full Earth". Will there be "Phases " of the earth. I need a song about this.

Try this out as a chorus:

That little blue ball is what we call home,
   so many miles away.
It looks so perfect out there all alone,
   so many miles away.
No wars, No sorrow we are able to see,
   so many miles away
This must be what God wanted it to be,
   on that creation day.

Come on gain, lets do something with this, I'm looking for a song to go with Hilton's announcement.

Hope I put the breaks in the right places, Lloyd. That is a beautiful verse. It seems a fantastic notion of Hilton's; a marvel to contemplate, but I, for one, hope it never comes to pass. I think we've mucked up our own ball of clay too much to be entrusted to care for any other properly. Still, there's no reason you can't have a song about it!**BG**

Kaylaughing.....

Thanks for correcting my mess. It looks like one else is interested in adding anything to it. Thats ok, maybe it was not such a hot idea.

I agree, the way we treat this planet maybe it would be best if we stayed at home.

Chorus:
That little blue ball is what we call home, so many miles away.
It looks so perfect out there all alone, so many miles away.
No wars, No sorrow we are able to see, so many miles away
This must be what God wanted it to be, on that creation day.

1
Could it be that one day we will journey a far
We could try to make a home on some distant star
What will be bring when we journey to the moon
Will we bring love and peace, or war and doom. 2
I would like to think that we would create
A place of equality, absent of hate.
Where children play outside without fear
What would be bring from our lives down here.

I hate computers. Sorry, but I can't get the format correct when I bring things from my word processing.

Again, you will get the drift.

I'll try this song out this weekend.
