Peter Bond is making a rare guest appearance at the Room at the Top Folk Club at the Red Lion in Newburgh, Lancashire on Monday, March 12th.
Peter's songs were a great influence in my choice of material in the 70s and 80s and I still play them today (for which Peter is very grateful!)

The Red Lion is on the A5209 about ten minutes from J27 on the M6. We have a good sized upstairs room and the pub sells decent cask beer (always a plus point!) and has a good menu if you want a bite to eat beforehand.

Make an effort to see Peter, he really is a very good turn and doesn't venture out very often.

I wish I could make it, but work will probably get in the way. He sang at Stockton on Monday and was in great form,two of his brothers joined him fo a couple of songs. (Myself and Nigel) Have a great night.
