Tune Req: songs by The Corrs

I have been searching in vain for the music to "Erin Shore", and "Along with the girls", recently recorded by the Corrs.

Also, "Ripples in the Rock Pools", "Hand in Hand", "When you and I where young Maggie", "The fields of Athenry", "Carrickfergus", "The Dark Island", and "Belfast Hornpipe".

Can you help please? I would certainly appreciate it.

CARRICKFERGUS

I wish I was in Carrickfergus, only for nights in Ballygran.
I would swim over the deepest ocean, the deepest ocean, my love to find.
But the sea is wide and I cannot swim over nor have I wings so I could fly.
If I could find me a handsome boatman to ferry me over, to my love and die.

My childhood days bring back sad reflections of happy times I spent so long ago.
My boyhood friends and my own relations have all passed on now like melting snow.
But I'll spend my days in endless roaming, soft sit the grass and my bed is free.
Ah, to be back in Carrickfergus on that long road down to the sea.

And in Kilkenny it is reported there are marble stones there as black as ink.
With gold and silver I would support her, but I'll sing no more now 'til I get a drink.
I'm drunk today and I'm seldom sober, a handsome rover from town to town.
Ah, but I'm sick now, my days are numbered. So come all ye young men and lay me down.

There are a couple of Dark Islands; this goes to the slow air (beautiful pipe tune) of the same name.

Away to the westward I'm longing to be

The tune "Erin's Shore" is more popularly known as "Paddy's green shamrock shore" and should be fairly easy to get hold of, if not let me know. James Galway plays a set of 3 tunes which he calls the "Belfast Hornpipe." I only know the titles of 2 of them although I have the music for all 3. They are "THe boys from Blue Hill", and "Harvest Home", (sometimes called "The Cork Hornpipe." If you need music try "Richard Robinson's tunebook" site. I'm not sure of the address but it should be easy to find if you do a search under "Irish music." Hope this helps. Alison (Sydney NSW)
