Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Singing In The Kitchen From: Chicky Date: 23 May 00 - 04:28 AM Wow! This song is a regular on Play School here in Oz - and a favourite of my kids when I let them loose in the saucepan cupboard. I'm sure I have the lyrics (and chords) in the Play School Useful Book, but my 3-yr old has put it "somewhere safe", and I can't unearth it at the moment. I'll try and dig it out and post them later... Cheers - Chicky

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Singing In The Kitchen From: DADGBE Date: 23 May 00 - 12:20 PM Thanks Joe. It's remarkable how many songs which were hits for others turn out to be written by Shel Silverstein. There's 'A Boy Named Sue', 'One's On The Way', 'The Winner'...and how many others? Hooray Chickie and Alison! It's good to know that this wonderful song is in use. I seem to remember verses on Bobby bare's recording. Anybody got 'em? |
