Subject: Attention Sandy Paton From: GUEST,Bruce Lewis Date: 12 Apr 02 - 11:57 AM Dear Sandy, I have been hoping for a CD issue of "If I Could Be The Rain" by Rosalie Sorrels, the first LP that I ever bought. It is one of the few favorite LP's of mine that I have not yet replaced with a CD version. Will there be a CD issue of it sometime? I'm sorry to be sending a message via the forum, but my web access is at the public library and will not accept cookies. Bruce Lewis |

Subject: RE: Attention Sandy Paton From: GUEST,Sandy Paton, sans cookie? Date: 12 Apr 02 - 03:20 PM When we can scrape together the necessary funds. I love that recording, too. Right now I'm trying to get Jim Ringer's album, another favorite, re-issued as a CD. Sandy |

Subject: RE: Attention Sandy Paton From: Sandy Paton Date: 13 Apr 02 - 01:58 AM Also in the works: our recording of Hobart Smith, the great banjo player, fiddler, and guitarist from Saltville, Virginia. We'll be able to add a couple of tracks that weren't on the original LP, too. Then there's the early Bok and TBM stuff that has yet to be transferred to the digital world, and another compilation of field recorded material from the archives. Damn! There sure is a lot to do, and precious little time in which to get it done! Sandy |
