Being crap at this technology lark. I'd like to reset my cookie as I'm appearing as a guest a lot. This is because I log on from work and I've changed jobs so a. my last e-mail address isn't valid and b. I can't remember my passwords . Can you help ?

Well, you will have to remember your passwords, or else change your Mudcat ID.

Up on to is a link that says something about Membership. It'll take you to the Login screen. Pene or Joe Might be able to close your original account. Then you could create the same account again, but perhaps use a password more easily remembered.

Click Membership left of "FAQ Help" and surf from there. Memory is all.

Pasword? What password?

There's a way to query it so you don't have to change your ID. It's the preferred fix because it will send your existing password to your registered email.

SRS you can't use the email thingy if your email has changed. You are right that you should not create another MudcatID. I would suggest an Email Joe Offer or Pene Azul. They can deal with it privately.

Ah, yes. So many accounts these days use the email address as the logon or account name, but don't actually send any email. (My netLibrary account, for example, or the New York Times). Leaving an defunct address actually is pretty good if you want the account but don't want any mail, though they'd probably cancel you once they discover it. Anyway--I changed my email that I have registered with my Mudcat membership, but I probably did have to remember my password to do that.

SRS

Send me an e-mail and I'll take care of it.
Please give me your real name, your previous e-mail address, and your home address - so I can be reasonably sure I know who you are since there's a change in your e-mail.
Please do not submit a new Mudcat Membership.
Thanks.
-Joe Offer-
