Subject: The good Power of Melancholia From: GUEST,Peter Arnesen Date: 13 Dec 03 - 04:34 AM In my opinion Paris, Texas is the best example of a great story combined with film music that fits like a glove. Ry Cooder is to me a great carrier of melancholics in this movie, and when I'm in the mood for having a melancholic time window into my life I just put this one on my player. Great stuff. Sometimes I try to play it myself on my Dobro and then I like to combine the title track (Paris, T.) with the song Canción Mixteca (track 4 on the record). Lately I have thought of how it would be to sing it too. Only problem I don't have the lyrics. I could try to play it/sing it by the ear, but still it would be better to have the lyrics. Anyone got the lyrics for "CANCIÓN MIXTECA"? |
