Gainsborough Riverside Festival is this Saturday (19th) with lots of fun free stuff going on all over town throughout the day. Included is a Folk Night in the great hall of Gainsborough Old Hall. (No heating but wonderful acoustics) This starts at 7.30pm and will be folk club style so anyone who wants to sing in these wonderful surroundings will get a chance. PM me if you are planning to come.

Oops, forgot to mention that there isn't a bar, but everyone is welcome to bring their own drinks (alcoholic or otherwise)

Gainsborough Riverside Festival also was mentioned on Folk Waves last Monday night. Will there be the usual firework display afterwards at the riverside? Hope to be there.

Fireworks at 10pm, but there are by Trent Bridge so I don't think we'll see them as easily as last year.

Musical Fireworks all evening at the Old Hall hopefully! I'll be there with me fleece and thermals (and that's only for wrapping me guitar in!) :0)
