Hi folks

Same time, same place - 8.30 pm at the Millstream in Port Vale, Hertford.

I'm not sure how many more of these I'll be able to get to but they will carry on without me. However, it would be nice to put faces to names who have shown any sort of interest so far so if you can make it why not come along?

Just had Eleanor (and Nathaniel) round for dinner, repertoire discussion, rehearsal and guitar strings. Hope to perform our new arrangements of "She Moves Through the Fair" and "Fotheringay" on Wednesday at Hertford.

Hecklers welcome! (but not Kochs - this isn't the NRA!)

Alan

Looking forward to that Alan.
Jacqui, I am hoping to drag Mary along again, and Keith Burgess is intending to come.
There is overwhelming evidence that the Millstream Hertford is the repository of The Holy Grail, and excellent local ales from the cask.
Keith.

Couldn't agree more Keith - it must be the best pub in the area AND the acoustics are great!

Not long got back from the session - we had more people turn up and a good time was had by all.

The next official session will be 13th October, but by then I won't be around so I'm having a leaving session of the 6th October from 8.30 onwards.

Come along if you can - I'm going to miss you lot and it would be nice to go out with a good session ringing in my ears.

Hi Jacqui I will be there on 6th Oct to see you off. I am sure they are here some where, but any chance of some directions from The White Horse? If not I will find it some how.

Hi Martin

Turn left out of Castle Street and head toward the traffic lights. Take the left hand fork (just about straight on) into St Andrew Street. Go straight up that road until you reach the roundabout. Take the right hand fork, the road passes Hertford Hospital and, at the roundabout just past Hertford North station, turn right into Beane Road. Go to the top of the road and turn right into Port Vale. The pub is a short way along on the left hand side.

Parking can be a bit of a problem so probably better to try and get there early.

Looking forward to seeing you on the sixth.
