Well gol danged... Looks like I'm gonna be a doing a one hour Blues workshop at the upcoming Getaway. It will be at 4:00 on Saturday afternoon.

Anyone up for attending? If so, do you currently play blues? If so, would you like to lead part of the hour?

If not, what kind of stuff would you like me to cover?

Lots of times people don't decide which workshops theyre going to attend until the last minute. It depends on what else is scheduled, what's going on in the way of impromptu jamming, how late you were up last night and whether the Blues Styles workshop is uphill or down from whatever you went to during the previous hour....

Hello, Hello. Bobert. As for what I'd like you to cover, well, cover yourself. Although camp runamoke is noted as a nudist camp, you are not authorized to go au natural.

Now, if I'm not too dazed and don't wander off in the rapture I'll most likely stick around to bend a wire with you. Susette has been wanting me to resurrect Empty Pocket Blues, so we just might do that at your esteemed workshop.

I'm looking forward to meeting you, Bobert. And I want to hear your blues workshop; I like blues but I'm one of those people (Am I alone?) who gets depressed from a blues overload, so don't take it personally if I don't stay!

I'm definately planning to be at this one. I haven't got the playin' part together with the singin' part as well as I like, but I'm always looking to pick up something new. Whether or not I figure out the accompaniment, I'll share one of the woman's blues from the twenties.
