John specializes in the matchless playing of countless different kinds of squeezebox and has the voice of a very loud Nightingale. He has been a member of the Albion Country Band, Magic Lantern, The Richard Thompson Band, Umps and Dumps, Steeleye Span, Brass Monkey, Trans-Europe Diatonique, and Band of Hope, as well as numerous ceilidh bands. John is also at the Railway, Heatley (website) on Thursday December 7th, and tickets are going fast - I think over forty have been sold already, and the capacity is 75. the Sultans of Squeeze (JK and Chris Parkinson) recently appeared at Stockport Accordion Club - the club still doesn't know what hit them!! It was an excellent evening's entertainment! |
