I don't think so

Hedley Jones I believe has left the folk club at Wombwell to Marie Aveling and as far as i am aware the excellent festivals with incredible guests like Lion train from Manchester and Paul Young and his Tex Mex ( sort of) band are now simply memories ~ also had Flossie and Nancy and James among others

Any one know diffrent?

I've heard that the folk club is to undergo another change in t'management next year (maybe already has?)

Would the demise have anything to do with the way we non-Yorkies pronounce Wumwell?
