Here's a link to the Warwick Folk Festival programme. I can recommend the Roebuck for (mostly) accompanied singing and a few tunes, and the late night sing in the Arts Centre for high quality mostly unaccompanied singing. There's often a bit of singing at the Bowling Green (pub).

As for Whitby, there's always something going on in the Station. You could also check out Jo and Mo's afternoon singarounds (I'm not sure where they are now) and informal pub singarounds in Middle Earth, Fleece, Endeavour, First in Last out and possibly other spots.

I don't think there are themes, or if there are it might be a spur of the momemnt thing. I hope you have a good time and find what you want.

Normally the two in a bar rules apply, so you and me can sing provided no one joins in the chorus !!
Sue has got two temporary event notices for folk week, each last 96 hours so Wednesday will be a no sing day..... there HAS to be a gap of 24 hours between each notice by law.
However in any event all music must cease by 11pm

Ain't that the truth, I find it amazing that the complaint of one person can have such a dramatic and detrimental effect on another business and cause grief to a multitude of people who only want to sing. If you don't like noise don't live next door to a pub, especially one that been trading since at least 1745.
