Seek info on a group: vent du nord

I just heard a group on t.v. . It was on the french channel so I did not understand the songs but the music was excellent - (Old Quebec style with a cajun mixture I imagine).

The group consisted of a guitarist, an accordionist, a fiddler, and a hurdy gurdy player.,

Can anyone provide info on this group. I typed in " Vente du nord" but did not any hits of a musical nature. Maybe I am not spelling the name correctly

Sure you aren't. The name of the group is "Le Vent du Nord" (The North Wind) while "Vente du Nord" means "North Sale".

You're welcome. Btw, I only heard about them a few days ago (I'm French, not Canadian French and not the most up to date person this side of the Atlantic) and I like what they sing.

I was given one of their CDs and LOVE it and don't understand a word of it.
