Depending on how widely you're prepared to define "area" there's Teigmouth folk club - a monthly folk club that happened last night - and Topsham on Sundays.

All of the ones listed below are pretty near Torquay. I woukld give them a ring to see if they are still going on.

Torquay Folk Club doesn't appear to be in Torquay any more.

The club re-opened at the current venue on Thursday 8 March 2007
Anne and Steve used to run Torquay Folk Club at the Crown and Sceptre, Torquay, which met for the last time on Thursday 8 December 2005. They then ran Totnes Folk Song Club for 3 months at the Kingsbridge Inn, Totnes, in late summer 2006 before having to leave this venue.

Go to Flaxey Green or harberton folk on the web, they both carry extensive listings.You'd be welcome in \Exmouth, Manor Hotel, on Tuesday.
