Subject: RE: Accordion made from 2 Commadore 64s! From: Sandra in Sydney Date: 08 Nov 22 - 02:28 AM amazing! I loved this comment - our scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should. and this one - Imagine what this guy could do if he teamed up with someone playing the electric bagpipes! The possibilities are endless! and someone pasted a Far Side cartoon where people arriving in heaven get given harps & people in hell get accordions another one - Fantastic and jaw dropping! I mean, the guy didn't just use two Commodore 64 shells and made an instrument to look the part... those are fully functioning and minimally modified. That's what makes the whole thing special I really do have other(better) things to do ... |

Subject: RE: Accordion made from 2 Commadore 64s! From: leeneia Date: 10 Nov 22 - 01:55 PM I couldn't live with the sound that the Commodordion produces, but I sure wish my accordion had bellows as easy to open and close as that. I salute Linus's ingenuity and musical ability. |

Subject: RE: Accordion made from 2 Commadore 64s! From: Jon Freeman Date: 10 Nov 22 - 02:17 PM I quite like the sound... I think the SID chip the C64 used was considered quite a bit better than what ever competing home computers of the era were using. |
