Since Allan was so modest as to announce this only under new things at bbc's, I wanted to make sure that those of you who will be meeting him on his soon-to-be trip w/ Bill Sables will recognize who's walking in your door. BTW, bill\sables photos are there, too. Enjoy!

Thanks, bbc. How very thoughtful you are! I should mention that Joe Offer took a really nice picture of me (one of the only existing photos of just me taken in the past twenty years!) at the Getaway last fall. But my appearance has changed a bit since then, so I didn't submit that one. Thanks anyway, Joe.

What do you mean your appearance has changed. You looked the same at annap's. You didn't shave your beard, did you. You know ... I really like you ... but I love your beard! Your hair did look a bit longer in the picture you sent me ... but I wouldn't call that a significant change. Please tell me you didn't shave your beard ... moonchild

At the 1999 Getaway, my beard was only about three weeks old and my hair was quite short. I have not cut my hair since then and my beard is much more of a beard than it was. The way I looked at Annap's in January was somewhere in between. But no matter what the outward appearance, it's still me inside here ;-)

Thanks. I obviously have not done nearly enough touristing around this site, I didn't know any of that stuff was there! Joe, add this info to the Newcomer's Guide, would you? This is a bunch of TOO COOL stuff, is all I can say.
