Hi, everyone -- trying to track down the sheet music or a recording of a song my Mom used to sing to us and play on the piano (always around Halloween)...the scary lyrics were something like...

"each night I see them marching by,
the men from the valley of the apple pie,
where are they going, no one knows,
we only know that the story goes,
that children who follow these little men,
never never come home again..."

Does anyone else remember this spooky song? Thanks...Kathy

Unfortunately, #, it's just a passing reference from a list of songs being performed.

The song is more correctly titled "Men From the Valley of Apple Pie" (note the lack of the second "the"), which could me hampering searches.

The song is included in at least 5 different songbooks but sadly none available anywhere online or remotely near me. See here

The first line seems to run: "Each night I see them marching by, the men from the valley of apple pie"
