Hi Rose, it's in the DT here and also at Lesley Nelson's site here. Check out all the versions to find the tune you know.

These are midi files. You can right click on the link and then "save target as."

Fill, Fill A Rún

Sopranno Regina Nathan's page has a 32 second sound clip of Fill, Fill A Rún.

The song is also on a Windham Hll recording 'Celtic Requiem' (link is to amazon.com's page on the CD). Mary McLaughlin is featured on the CD, but I don't know if she's the one who sings this song. (CD is by 'various artists'.)

I didn't come across any full length MP3s, but I hope this helps in your search.

Rose, if you give me an email address where you can receive an attachment that's 3.39MB, I'll send you an MP3 of the song from the CD 'Celtic Requiem,' cited by Jeri above. I encoded it at 96 kbps, so it's not the best quality, but it's good enough for learning the song, assuming that's what you want to do. Email me here:

Ivan Bradley's e-mail

I emailed the MP3 file to Rose and received her thanks in reply. I assume, since the words are posted in the other thread and the tune is readily available, this request has been answered.
