Subject: PLUG : Mudcatter's Music Online From: Aidan Crossey Date: 08 Feb 02 - 05:08 AM I've recently had a recording of two my own compositions selected by The Mandolin Cafe to feature in their MP3 clips page. The recording is of "Gerry Crossey's Tune" and "Gerry Crossey's Hornpipe" and appears on the Mandolin Cafe's MP3 site, attributed to "Aidan Crossey" - my name in the real world - and is currently described as "Crossey Set". I have asked Scott, the site owner, to change the name of the link to list both tunes. The Mandolin Cafe's MP3 page can be reached by clicking here. Further details on my music can be found here. Many thanks to Kevin McGrath (McGrath of Harlow) for converting my analogue recording to digital. He's owed at least a fistful of pints. Go raibh mile maith agat, mo chara chairde! Let's know what you think! |

Scott has changed the link name now and I'm glad that this tribute to my da is out there and a few people know that I've written this wee set of tunes for him. Rest in peace, you big hallion!
